Profile: Joshua Tree Excursion
Originating from the Palm Springs International Airport participants travel together to a remote area of Joshua Tree National Park. If you live up north this excursion offers a respite from the winter doldrums as the days promise clear blue skies and comfortable temperatures. WilderneSS has found the desert during this time of the year to be ideal - there is a quietness to it, very few distractions (no bugs), and a sense of isolation that is very conducive to seeking God. The five days of solitude include three days of fasting and one day of silence.
